Hello · It's Danielle

WORK WITH ME

Strategy, communications, and the work of seeing clearly.

I help smart people think clearly in a noisy world.

My consulting practice focuses on the structural work behind good marketing and communications, the measurement frameworks, the strategic translations, the dashboards and decision systems that turn ambition into something an organization can actually execute and prove.

The work I love most is untangling legacy thinking. Helping organizations that have outgrown their own systems find a new way forward. Big, meaty problems where the path is not obvious and the stakes are real.

Currently booking through 2026.

Fractional Marketing Leadership

Interim senior leadership for organizations between executives or scaling beyond their current team. Director and VP-level work, on a defined engagement.

For companies in transition, executive search, or maternity coverage.

Speaking

Keynotes, panels, and conference talks on marketing, entrepreneurship, and the freedom of building a working life that fits the way you actually think.

For founder communities, business schools, and industry events.

Strategic Marketing Planning

Marketing strategy developed in close partnership with leadership, grounded in your company's purpose, vision, and revenue model, and built to be executed by your team or my network of designers, developers, and specialists.

For companies building their marketing function or restructuring an existing one.

Corporate Writing

Executive communications, public relations, persuasive presentations, annual reports, speech writing. The kind of writing that has to land in front of boards, investors, regulators, or the public.

For executives and communications teams who need words that perform.

My career began in advertising agencies, think Mad Men with less smoking and more women in power positions, where I worked on Tourism British Columbia and McDonald's and Boston Pizza and General Motors. Fifteen years of that taught me how to think about brands at scale.

The next thirteen years taught me what to do with that thinking. I built a company from my kitchen table into a brand with distribution on four continents and product sold in Nordstrom and Harrods. I have written measurement frameworks for 15,000-person organizations. I have advised senior leadership through reorganizations. I have translated boardroom strategy into the kind of operational plan a team can actually run on Monday morning.

Putting a flattering quote about yourself on your own website is, of course, mortifying. But the alternative, pretending no one has ever said anything nice about your work, is somehow worse. So here is what clients tend to say:

"She is very good at seeing what is going on and finding a way through it."

I did not write it. They did. I am simply reporting.

Past work includes Tourism British Columbia, McDonald's, Boston Pizza, General Motors, Vancouver Coastal Health, Vancouver Fraser Port Authority, and a range of smaller agencies and start-ups across the past 25 years.
